rear shock conversion?

i just got some works front shocks, i want to do a conversion on my rear, what do they do to it, and how is the price? can some one help me??? (Rico!!!) you seem to know alot answer asap

They have some deal worked out with Elka on a rear conversion called the Mack Daddy upgrade for like 285$

I just got mine back today from Terry Marcum. $250 total,,but that's a new spring, maxima oil, gold series seals/valves,,which the seals are were most of the money goes,,but there the best out there. I got a new spring because I think the stocker spring is rated at like 165 pounds and I'm about 35 over that limit. Of course I haven't put it on and ridden it yet,,but Terry claimed it will handle and work as good as any aftermarket shock. Now just getting the shock revalved will make a difference too,,and also be cheaper.

Oh and what I had done was Terry's mack daddy deal,,,cheaper too.

SO DOES IT COME WITH THE REMOTE REZZY, DO THEY ADD IT ON, OR WHAT?

Your stock shock already has the remote rezzy on it.

Your stock 400ex Rear shock has a "Piggy Back" Reservoir, the Mac Daddy Upgrade does give it a true REMOTE Reservoir look at the link i posted above and scroll down to the bottom of the page that is what you get for 285$ i guess Dual Rate spring and such all the options are listed there.

BUt if you don't have the SSD on the fronts I don't know if it would be a good idea to have it on the back. It seems like the SSD option should be all the way around,,but I truelly don't know if having SSD on the back and not the front will make a difference. I spoke with Marty at the quad shop,,since he's only 15 minutes away from me,,,about the rear shock rebuild,,but chose not to go with the SSD rebuild..YOu might wanna question that before you have your rear shock rebuilt with SSD.
