Leakiy Oil Check Screw

Anyone have some ideas for a fix?

I assume the threads are stripped and not just a bad copper washer right? If so I think I tapped one out to 1/4x20 once many years ago. Otherwise maybe a helicoil?

I had a my top end switched to another bottom end. Since then, i noticed the check screw is wet with oil but is tight. I will try a new crush washer first and go from there.
