Piston 1 or 2 ring ???

hello, just looking at a new piston an cant decide between je pistons

i wana get a je 13.5:1 std bore piston but cant decide between the 2 ring , and the one ring one

has any1 ran the 2 rings if so Wat r the benefits ?

You will be replacing rings more often with 1 ring design. In my opinion, it's not worth the extra horsepower. When I say extra, I mean very little. But, if you are in a situation where you are racing and every little bit counts, it may be worth it to you.

thanks mate i think ill go with the 2 ring ay, just coz i want the best for new 450er :)

you might see a little more oil consumption with the single compression ring pistons but i have always put 40+ hrs on my pistons without any issues or smoke, they could have gone longer but i replace my pistons every season
