I bought this quad not running and put everything together with all new top end parts. For some strange unknown reason, It isn't firing all the time.
I can hold the plug wire and kick it and it might fire 10 rotations straight but it might not fire for the next 20 rotations.
I have changed the stator and pick up, CDI, coil and rectifier off of my running 250X and still the same thing. and BTW the kill switch has no effect on the firing at all. It will sporadically fire whenever it wants.
when i try to start it, it will fire one good time and won't run. timing seems to be correct and the key way on the stator side isn't sheared.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
