i just got the d14 info today, thanks to millers, van dykes and whom ever else was invovled.
i have a question about the 90 production class, it says no hand clutches, does this mean no raptor 125 in this class, will it have to go to modified class?

Last year we ran pitster's with clutchs in the the supermini class.Which is ok till a real supermini shows up.Spec wise the raptor fits in the 90 mod,but it will be under powered for that class.I wish I knew how meny raptors and pitsters were going to turn out, that would be helpfull.

i really thought that the raptor was going to be a good 90 production quad i was going to buy one so i could stay in the production class, your right if a bike motor shifter quad would seem to be superior to the pitster and raptor
is this a d14 rule or a atva rule

90 prod. is where id like the 125's race as well. Ill get with Luke and see what we can work out.

Im pretty sure the whole manual clutch deal spoils that one.

I dont see anything stating it has to be auto though..... the TRX90's race it but theyre auto clutch. Interesting.

I think we can be a little more flexible than atva. I dont think a manual clutch should keep them from running in a production class. At least the pitsters and the raptors come with dual arms.:)

I think we should do whatever to get entries personally.

We will find a place for all the kids to race, not to worry we have Luke. He truly cares about the growth of youth atv racing in this state.

i agree, i dont own either so it doesn't matter to me, but i feel if people can go to yamaha or pitster and buy a quad that can be competetive in the production class it will help turn out. and i don't see any real advantage to the hand clutch over cvt. its just cheaper to maintain.

Manual clutch 125's in production Hmmm Guess that would make a COBRA 80 shifter a production bike right. wheels are turning;) those 80 are really fast!!!!!!When will we know?I dont think any REAL SUPER MINIS will show it cost about 15,000 to build one and about 8,000 for a used one.

Guess this is a can of worms, I don't want to open. If Dave's gonna bring out his real fast cobra 80 shifter,I'll look like a fool. LOL I'am just tryin to find a spot to run the lil 4 strokes. We can just keep them in the supermini class, and hope for the best. Iam sure the kids will still have a good time.

i quess its more complicated them it looked, they must have put that in just to keep the cobras out.
just take the clutch lever off the yamaha and tell them to shift without it.
