I went to put my brake rotor on, and the rotor hits the prm skidplate. It won't fit. This is a stock brake rotor, stock rotor hub it just will not clear the skidplate. Any smaller rotors work off any other quad?? The skidplate also is not bent.

Thing like that happen some time. Just shim the skid plate so it clear the disk.

Also, check if the chain ajusment is rotated in the right direction to bind the chain!

1987TRX250X gave you some good advice.

you have one of two things going on. If somebody removed the little stop screw on the back of the swingarm then your carrier will over rotate and actually put the rotor on the skid plate. Most likely this is your problem.

the other thing is to just shim the plate to allow for any wear and tear it has over the years.

I got it to go on there by rotating the carrier, but what if i ever need to tighten my chain. I have like a 1/4in of clearance from skidplate to rotor.

Ok to tighten my chain I have to rotate the carrier counter clockwise. So which way should I turn it to get it right?? I remember my stock carrier turned clockwise to tighten. I didn't install the carrier so no tellin how it got out of wack.

It is always clockwise, pull from the top back. Most aftermarket carriers do not have built in stops, so if that what you have it a easy fix unbolt the rear sprocket and rotate the carrier 180 degrees.
