pro taper help

I did a little seachering but didn't find much help. Right now I have a cheap set of fly bars and they are bent. Was wondering what I should go with the Evos or the contours and also what bend would be good. I know alot of people go with the cr Hi. I like the hight of my bars now. Here a pic

I went with standard SE's they work just fine, the Countours are 1 1/8 around and you'll need new clamps to use them.

CR High is actually a really low bend on the EX, the ATV High bend is really similar to what your handlebars are.

I run the Pro Taper SE's with the High Bend and I love them. Had to go with the high bend because I'm 6'4''. So much better than the stockers.

You can't go wrong with Tapers.

Ya I really like the look of no center bar. I didn't know I would need new clamps for the contours also.

Yeah you need a set of universal adapter clamps ($20-30) if you want to go to tapered or "fat bars". Standard bars like your Flys are 7/8" at the clamps, and tapered bars like the EVO's or Contours are 1 1/8" at the clamps.

EVO or Contour is pretty much the same, EVO has far less choices for bar bends. I would go with the Contours in ATV mid or high if you want to stay close to stock height.

There's lots of choices for 1 1/8" bars. I run Fly Aerotapered snowmobile bars on my quad in Mini bend. They aren't crappy like the cheap steel Fly bars; they're as nice or better than the TAG and Protaper bars i've used. They have nice height and allow for a more comfortable riding position for me personally.

im about 5' 10" and i run the se's with a atv mid bend and i love them a tad bit lower then stock

Thanks for the help thats the anwsers I was looking for. Im gonna go with the contour mid atv bend a little lower will be fine. Nacsmxer thats a sick 400 like the blue.

Thanks! Right on man, the 1 1/8" bars are a very nice upgrade, you won't want to go back to 7/8" bars with a crossbar. Good luck trying to bend a set of 1 1/8" bars :p
