Wondering if 2008 black plastic would work on my 2006 400ex??

Hey I was just wondering if I could put 08+ years black plastic on my 2006 black plastic could I switch em to make it all 2008 black plast??? didnt know if itd work or not

all i know is the plastics are totally different. but i guess you could always try??
