I just want to check and see if any of you are seriously interested in this nice 1987 250r. It is a stock frame, no cracks or extra welding. Original finish on frame. It has older plus 2 Lonestar arms on it. It has a durablue adjustable axle. Lonestar Twin Row carrier with good bearings. Stock 400ex front shocks, stock 250r rear shock. 66.75mm bore with a cast Pro-x piston. 190psi compression. Some light mid range porting done by Janssen Motorsports. FMF Gold series pipe. Stock carb. K&N filter.
It is pictured with a lowering link in the rear, but it will sell with the stock rear link installed.

I have some stock parts that could be negitiated into the deal. Stock '87 A arms, stock axle, '87 headlight setup, ignition switch, full set of red maier plastics......ect.

Also I am willing to travel within 250 or 300 miles if someone on the board wants it.

$1800

I am not in a real big hurry to sell it. I have another '87 with an LED 350pv motor. Actually the 350PV was in this frame until a few weeks ago. I picked up another quad and it had the frame PC'ed and had newer A arms. I decided to just swap the motors and resell this one. I have ridden it about 10 hours and its a great running quad.

I am willing to travel to meet you guys also. I would drive maybe about 5 hours one way to meet someone. I would probably just make a lil road trip of it. Leave on Friday afternoon, drive to the meeting point, get a room. Meet up on Saturday and then head back home. Keep it in mind.

If someone is really serous I can get more detailed pictures tommorow and email them out.

This is a great quad, but it does have a few flaws. Namely the oil level check bolt must have been stripped by a prev. owner. It has a 1/4-20 bolt in it now. does not leak. Also where the lower shock linkage bolts to the swingarm, it has been welded or reinforced. It is solid, just looks hairy. The rear fenders are a little chewed up on the edges also.
