I have a small pond with a few hundred bass and a few hundred crape that I feed daily. I go out ounce a week and catch a few for dinner, and this year I’ve started a garden so my veggies will be fresh as well.lol

i keep the fish i catch. thats about the extent of my my fish keeping. lol we used to have a tank with some random fresh water guys in there but we havent had any for a long time.

it might be time to get a bowl and have a new center piece for a while. i need to get some that will make it a few days at a time though so i can leave them at school when i go home on the weekends.

lol

10 gal aggressive.
55 cichlid tank.
@ home

it really is ridiculous, people keep handing me running tanks and I can`t say no. the fresh are cheap but alot of work. the salt is a money pit.

I keep a bunch of flounder, trout, drum etc in my freezer during the summer. Then i bring them back out when its fish fry time :) Ive always wanted to have a saltwater tank to have some little sheepshead in, they look so cool when theyre little.

those discus are huge money. beautiful fish though. does that pacu ever try and jump out the tank when your feeding him? i had two that got pretty huge when I was young and you almost had to slap them down when feeding.

your not kidding about those discus, i got close to 2k wrapped up in that tank and its a never ending process. and actually my pacu is surprisingly tame. i take the food in my fingers and he eats it right out of my hand. ive had him since he was the size of a quarter and now hes the size of a dinner plate at just about a year old. there growth rate is amazing to say the least. he deffinatly grows in spurts though.. one day ill wake up and he just looks bigger. the only thing that freaks him out is when i turn the lights on and its real dark in the room. sometimes he gets spooked and swims into the side of the tank. but for the most part chester is a pretty good fish lol :macho
