I have some Spy sunglasses I need to get rid of and haven't gotten any calls after posting on Craigslist so I'm resorting to eBay. I never sold anything on there so I was just wondering how shipping works. Does eBay paypal me the money to ship the item?

You choose what to charge for shipping and that is added into the buyer's total

^^yep and then you get your money from paypal as the purchaser pays you direct. Then you need to pay for your ebay fees which ebay charges you after the item is sold

Not really, you can denote shipping will be more due to locations outside the US but you cant charge more if they live in say texas vs alabama.

Ebay automatically makes them pay the proper shipping thru paypal anyways. Its based on the weight and size of the item in the box. When you set up the auction you note this and if the item sells for 20 bucks, you also get the money to cover the shipping. IE item was 20, shipping was 5 bucks, so you get 25 bucks in the end.
