teather install

need to install a teather before this weekend,its an 86 with no kill switch whatsoever,im not sure what wire to look for,i would like to put a kill button on also,any info appreciated,newbe here

Do you still have your key hooked up? If not is the wires from the harness to your key still there, they should have little male ends on them. If they are still there just hook one wire to from both the push button and the tether to each of these key wires and there you go. If not you will have to find one of these wires (I believe its black with white line but will double check when I get home from work) attach one wire from both to this wire and the other wires to ground on upper radiator support bolt.

one of the teather wires goes to the wire that is black/white stripe.

the other wire goes to green or to the frame.
