Whats this hose??

Whats the hose that comes out of the left side of the engine (under the bracket where the clutch cable connects) It makes its way over the counter sprocket and eventually up to the top of the motor somewhere. Mine just got a nice exhaused sized hole in it.

that hose is for draining the carb bowl

I looked it up on an oem parts finder and it calls it a breather hose (or tube)

I looked it up on an oem parts finder and it calls it a breather hose (or tube) yes its the hose that goes to the T fitting and to the air clearer and top of the head, you might just be able to shorten and reroute it.... it should have some sort of filter on the end thats why it goes into air box, so dont just cut it

Yeah I was thinking the same thing (shortening it) I never noticed it being that close to the exhaust.

i run all my vent hose to the ground without filters, depending on the type of riding you do you will be fine. As long as you dont do water crossings that are deep or mud bogs, straight to the ground will be fine
