A few years ago I bought a pilot conversion motor for $700 on Ebay. The sleeve was broken.

I was not liking my green bike's 350 Power valve like I used to since running the 431 Puma. I sent this motor to Pete at Hybrid Entertainment to rework a Pilot cylinder I bought on ebay. It was ported for duning and bored for an 83mm piston. The 4 mil crank will give me 411cc.
It is bore-able the 85mm or 431cc. He sent the cylinder and bottom end back to me. After redoing the bottom end with filler in the case and a case bore for the pilot skirt, it was ready for paint and polish.

Great work! That looks awesome! How long does it take you to polish a cylinder?

Yep, she sure would. Tony, are you donating this one to a good cause? :D

Yes it is replacing the 350PV on the Heineken bike. Just doesn't have enough horsepower.

Latheboy, I have it down to 8-10 hours. The first 3-4 hours are sanding with the cartridge rolls on the die grinder. Some roloc disks on the 90 degree die grinder and the mini whipper.

The next 4-5 hours with the black compound on the sisal wheel to buff out the scratches. I go home looking like our African American brothers (maybe darker) for 3 evenings. Then 1-2 hours on the polishing wheel to bring out that bight shine.

My daughter often complains I use too much of her makeup remover! LOL!
