stem question?????

ok so i know they make plus one stems that are higher... but does any one make some sort of block that could go behind the stem bracket, so it would give you say, a plus one forward? im not sure if this would throw off the geometry or just make steering a little bit weird...hell im not sure if its possible? i come from a down hill mountain bike background and the ex just feels a tad short to me (nose to tail) just looking to make it more comfy....

you can buy a plus +1 forward placement stem from many people
