what is the size of the nut you must remove to change the torque spring????

If you tryin to get it off, put the nut in a vise and use a strap wrench around the clutch to remove.

There are a couple different sizes out there. I know the stock one is a little bigger than a 1 1/2 inch. Maybe 33 or 34mm???? That same socket works on the one for my overrange. Take the whole thing to Sears and find what ya need.

The big nut is 39mm

I use a 12 point 1 1/2" socket and my cordless impact, you will have to pound the socket onto the nut, works good.

next question is where to buy a 39mm???? ive went to sears, lowes, northern tool and several others, yet to see a 39.

just go buy a 1 1/2 12point socket works just as good

harbor freight look for the 3/4" drive set in the big red box.

I bought mine at the local Northern Tool store. They're for sale on ebay as well.

i found a 39 mm 6pt socket at parts plus i think it was 12 bucks tsc allso carryes big sockets allso at a cheap price tsc tractor suppley company
