What can i all get rid of for the starter ringgear and stuff behind the variator

all of it - take out everything behind the variator. the ring gear, large gear, start motor its self - the whole deal.

That is the easy part. What you need to do since that is all gone is shim up behind the variator to make sure its aligned with the rear. I can't remember the exact shim size (want to say 10mm, someone chime in if you know) and you might need a couple of 1mm shims to + or - that to get the alignment front to rear pulley just right. If you really get in a pinch let me know and I'll measure my shim stack next time I'm in the clutch and post it.

Also want to plug up that start hole with something - something vented is nice for cooling.

are you makeing shims or where can you get them i have everything but the part on the crank gone just didnt want to mess up the crank balence
