what is the best hommade way i could mak something to water my mx track

i jus use a water tank in the back of my work truck with a honda water pump and a garden hose with the wide spray nozzle. works good if jus some friends are riding. i used to use a hand spray with a tank strapped to my back but took too long and back was too sore to ride ;)

Those $250 briggs and stratton trash pumps work great. If you don't have a tank and a truck, you can dig a hole in the middle of the track to collect water, then use the pump and a hose, if you reduce the end of the hose from 2" to 3/4" it will spray about 40'. Its hard work dragging the 2 inch hose around the track but it will definately work.

If you have a truck and a tank but no trash pump - a powerwasher will work ok - not nearly as good as the trash pump.

I second Dan Harris's statement. We are doing the same thing. After 4 years we finally have the track graded to flow back to the middle pond, where a trash pumps it all to a hose... Works good.
