Anybody know of a free downloadable video converter.. I tried to make my first quad video with my gopro but movie maker doesn't accept mp4. I found one to convert to a wmv but it leaves a stupid banner in the middle of the video....

thanks

I dont know about a converter but you can download corel videostudio pro x4 trial 30 day trail version for free. It is fully functional, has no banners and accepts mp4 files, and its really easy to use I actually bought it after the 30 days was up.

Hey Tommy,

Cool Vid!

Was that shot up at the Ganaraska Forest ?

Can you not just change the Output settings on the Camera to output WMV....instead of MPEG4 ?

I downloaded Sony Vegas to edit my GoPro Vids. Not as simple as Movie Maker but a much better program. Once you figure it out it works wonders. You can find a torrent for it easily  .

Windows Movie Maker is probably the worst piece of software for making/editing videos. Use either CyberLink Power Director or Adobe After Effects if your looking for anything worth the money. And Power Director isn't really anything great, but a lot better than Movie Maker.
