Well..... ya I broke it agin. I was ridding at the coast and the chain came off and broke it in 2 spots!:grr I was soooooooo mad!!!! It was a stock engine, and I was going to biuld it up but know I think Im going to get either a 426 or a 330-350r engine already built. Any commets about a 426? Would it have more power than a 440ex? My freakin axel carrier wont stay tight because we put grease on the outside of it, and now it wont stay tight, if thats my problem. So my chain falls off.

breaking a case does suck, I've done it twice, on my 300 it broke the middle piece of casing, talk about a pain to replace

yzf would be pretty sweet, why not a crf?

I would tighten my chain and it would go loose agin. Because when I put it in I put (well not me) but grease got put on the outside of my carrier and now it wont stay tight. I think thats the problem!? O-well its over now!

he could be talking about a 350 bore and stroke job. i dont know how much cheaper, probably little less, but not much. i would stick with the 2 stroke. i love the sound, the power, and how light they are.

I have broken a nac's casesaver on my R.When I broke my case I didn't have a casesaver. When I got my case fixed I got a casesaver. When the chain got worn out it kept coming off and I couldn't figure out why.Well by the time I got it fixed I had already broke the nac's casesaver. But luckily not the case again.THen of course my counterbalancer bearing went bad.Either that or my crank split. Not sure which one yet.I haven't split the cases.I don't have the money to fix it and don't want to loose a bunch of parts.

what are you talking about putting a 450 or 426 in and destroying a R frame, if there is a 350 or 265 R in that frame, its putting out some ponys to, so it also has the power to tear a stock frame apart, not just the dirtbike motors
