here is a 86 with only teather... ignition only... no auxiliary circuit capability at all... the only difference between the 86-87up is the leads are reversed to the pulse generator from the cdi

How do I wire in a headlight if I only have a teather kill switch.? I have no light controls. I don't mind if the light is always on.

Thanks!

does your white wire from the alternator plug into a yellow with white stripe wire?if you have a yellow/white wire that's your auxiliary circuit, you can put a toggle switch between the yellow/white and either of the high or low beam wire( from light the white wire or blue wire) and of course it must have the green from light going to the ground (the green circuit in your harness)

are you looking to do this??no tail lite but either high or low with a toggle, you should be able to hide the switch if you want to

I'll research and see. That diagram will be a huge help in this set up, though. Thanks for the prompt reply!!
