Bothered by Another problem..

Sorry for all the threads guys, but this 400 is brand new to me and i havnt got a chance to ride it andim dumpin money into it..

My problem's my timingg. i had the motor at TDC and was putting the cam in and noticed the two dash marks on the cam, and the way the cam looked was the intake at 10:00 and the exhaust lobes at 2:00 from looking at it on the brake pedal side.. can anyone tell me my problem?!

It won't matter if the piston is TDC or at the bottom of the stroke...just make sure your "T" mark is aligned, an the 2 index marks on the cam align with the top of the head.

Well, were you on TDC compression, or TDC exhaust? Remember these are four stroke engines so it takes two TDC's to make one PowerStroke. If I remember correctly TDC Compression the cam lobes are up, TDC exhaust lobes are down and going into overlap with Intake. Sound right or am I backwards?
