ok iv looked but, i Cant find anything along the lines of mine, so im asking the question. i have a 400 that i bought it had a k/n air filter with holes drilled in the lid, they are about 15- 1/2 inch size holes drilled in it.
it has a slip on fmf and i had to have it bored 30 over because it was smoking. so i took the carb off tonight athe jets in it is 148/38. my question is. this seems like i allways hit a brick wall, seems like it needs more what should i be running plus i live in NC. thanks any help would be helpfull.

.30 over would be a 85.25mm piston I think. but that would make it about 400cc if my calculations are right. Pro X is the only one who list a piston in that size

no biggy, i get complacent and assume that most know what i am talking about if they are going to jet these things. not that it is hard but I assume that people have read something which doesnt seem to happen real often this time of year lol. the f/a screw, which is underneath the carb toward the engine side boot. go out from lightly seated 2.5 turns.
