hey i was getting my a arms and my nerfs powdercoated red and the place i took it to said i would need to take the a arm bearing outs and i would need to prob press them out and theres a possibility that it would get messed up??? is that true cause i dont want to get a new set cause there in good shape??? or should i just go ahead and get a new set?

As long as you press them out, they will still be good. They races of the bearing become mushroomed when you use a hammer to beat them out.

I have powdercoated them with bearings still in and never had any customers say they went bad or failed. You can powdercoat plastic and not have it melt so I dont see any issues with leaving them in and taping them off.
