Stock Shocks

What type of maintenance does the stock suspension (shocks) require? They aren't the best but I would like them to last as long as possible.

put some shockwears on them and maybe grease the bearings were they mount up..that's about all I think you can do..

for the front shock, there nothing to do except maybe shock cover, the rear shock can be rebuild, you can bring it to a shock shop and it will change oil, seal, and all the other piece if there used. it cost about 100$(canadian, approx 50us) to do it(each 2 or 3year if you dont ride a lot) the shock works really better after this.
