My son has a 2005 Predator 90 that is all stock. We do a lot of camping and some of the steeper trails are too much for the quad to make it up. What is the best starting point to get this quad be able to make it up them? I have literally had to push it up some of these trails while he has the gas on. Is the clutch the issue? What do you recommend?

What is the best way to tell if the belt is worn? I have been told to look for a glaze but I don't see one yet.

Also, what does the torque spring and rollers affect? Is the toque spring for what RPMs the clutch engages at or is that the rollers?

Here is a picture of the belt. Its a 788-17-28

Thanks,
Jason
