jets r us jet kit ...

Hey guys, I'm about to buy a jets r us jet kit and I see that it don't include pilot jets.So what size pilot jets should I buy along with this kit ? My 400ex has a slip on , aftermarket air filter, ground header welds , and the rest is unknown because the quad is new to me, and these are the mods i can see so far. I also plan to mod the engine in the future and would like the have the jets on hand . Thanks guys.

42 pilot should work good

I don't wanna half a** it and need a diffrent size and don't have it on hand, I don't mind droppin some change on some jets.Should I buy 40 42 45 also or is the slow jets something that dosne't need much tuning sence there is a air fuel adjustment to compinsate ? Another thing just to make sure , loosining the air fuel screw leans it out or richens it up ?

A 42 is all youll ever need, I used a 42 at sea level with the choke removed and never had a problem cold starting my quad, and it made the bottom end a lil better.

Out on the air/fuel screw for rich. A 42 pilot with the stock screw setting will be your best bet if you still have your choke.
