i asked at my locol dealler/machanic how much it would be to hav my front shocks resealed he told me they r not rebuildable its a 06 450er is that true cuz if so im out prob around 1000 for new fronts

No, they are completely rebuildable for alot less than $1000.

Honda's parts diagram does not show any parts being available. Enthusiasts and shock rebuilders have located the parts and are offering rebuilds.

They can be set up for your weight riding style and preference. GT thunder, Im going with Moto Xperts, Just to name a few both will set you up less i think GT thunder is like $400 for a duel rate and the tripple rate is around $500 but GT thunder dose not offer the tripple rate. Eather way you wont be dissapointed.

I would send your stuff to GT. They can do all 3 plus a swingarm link for $750.
