I am! im just trying to get stuff situated for summer classes and get the rest of my stuff to do finished up a bit. i have alot of oil to change in the off road stuff, and the bikes, sleds to clean, and homework to do for school.

Anyone going anywhere? I just came home.

Since friday. Rode from 12-dark saturday, sunday was nasty rain but took my bike to get checked out and we discovered why it had an exhaust leak, welded my buddies banshee +6 swingarm where it cracked, today mailing some junk off.

Not much else I gotta do this week, could clean my workshop as its disgusting tbh.

im on break, but its more like hell for me. Im out on both my Road and Mountain bikes everyday to get into better shape for racing after learning i still have a far way to go to get into true cycling shape.

next week. too broke to really do anything, so i'm just heading home to spend some time with the family and work on some stuff. that's fine by me since i haven't been home since winter break.

I am on my final spring break next week! I've worked every spring break I can remember except last year I was able to go to FL for the week and train with Ronnie Higgerson and other fast Pro Am and Pros. This year the parents are going to Hawaii for Dad's 50th birthday and said if we pay our air fare we can go out there. Good thing all I did this summer was work. lol! I'll miss the Pell City National but I think Hawaii will be worth it. ;)

I get two weeks! Today was my last day. In Michigan until Saturday, on the way home we're stopping as I'm looking at a car I might be buying for my first ride!

From Tuesday-Tuesday we're flying out west for a vacation. After that, it's just working on the bikes!

i could finally get relaxed if i had 2 weeks off along with getting everything done for the spring on the machines. i still have alot to do but oh well... it can wait till it is warmer outside.

back to school tomorrow. Currently sitting in my room thinking about how much i just want to graduate. If i wasnt actually out in th field teaching this semester i would probably want to change majors or drop out. I have one year left, but dammit, thats gonna be the longest year ever.

Well Im taking out loans too steve, but nothing major. It might take me longer than most (most are done at 22-23 and here I am still 2 years into the hole longer and Ill be 26 this summer!) But ill be ahead of the game money wise.

Did community college, was 1500-2000 a semester depending on what i took. Since I am not a dependent since 18 I paid very little. Then transferred and its 6k a semester But 4-5k of thats covered and rest is loans. Figure ill owe max 15-20k at the end over 10 years is nothing really. And thats making it even higher than I imagine (by at least 1.5x!)

For some reason based on my income they feel I deserve the cash. Im not complaining as many more suck the system dry-I might as well get mine cause I paid into it too.

What really helped was I was also technically self employed for the past 4 years. I was a 1099 employee, which means your subcontracted to someone else. Means you pay your own taxes but you dont get unemployment and other benefits-but my taxes are dirt cheap-ex: 10k and I paid maybe 2k into the gov for taxes.

Gotta work the system before it crumbles and your left out on the steer corner with nothing, ya know?
