Confirmation Anyone?

I heard a rumor today that Suzuki is being forced to buy back any of the LTR's that are 2008 or newer. I guess this is due the whole emmisions B.S.

Not sure what I would do if they are, guess it would depend on how much they were going to give me for my machine and then try to figure out what I would do with all the aftermarket parts.

Has anyone else heard this rumor?

its buy them back from the dealerships and its all of them truck came by local zuki shop and picked up a new unsold 07 had 6 more in the truck from other places

from wut i understand with a fellow rider who is the parts guy at a local zuki shop is that the deal with the ltr is because of the cherry bomb map which will make it not pass emissions if it didnt come with the map set into it wouldnt be no big deal, just wut ive been told and for the rest of the quads i think they are all choked up and set to run on the lean side factory to pass california emissions which then is past on to every state pretty much

they should just make special quad for CA then. i read they do that for the newer gsxr bikes.
and that cheery bomb does make you quad run really rich.
