what oil are you guys running in your ltrs i was going to run full synthetic oil but i have heard that it causes the clutch to slip so what do you guys think

Run a synthetic that DOES NOT have friction modifiers in it. those modifiers are what will cause the clutch to slip.

Any of the synthetics you get at your dealer should be that way as most dirt bikes and quads run "wet clutches." Which means the clutch runs in oil to keep it cool.

I prefer Amsoil, and have good luck with it.

He was wanting synthetic. I believe Honda oil is regular oil.

i ve been running amsoil full synthetic 10 40 been running a it a lil over a year since the breakin oil was changed if u try other oils see how clean the amsoil is after 2 rides compared to others and u willl prob make the switch for good but if u wanna run a good cheap oil and change it after every ride i hear to use rottela yes i said rotella like 12 a gallon oil lots of pple run it with good luck but i figure ill keep buying the 13 a quart amsoil
