i did it the first time in the air when the quad was on its ***, and i dont think its quite right. should i be doing it with the tires on the ground and measureing the toe in from there. thanks

actually it is best to adjust the frt end sitting on the ground with the rider or someone of almost equal weight on the quad.

i read an article saying that you should make sure the bars are straight by measuring, not just by eyeballing it. The push down on the bumper hard and lift up. re-measure the bars and go from there.
