My buddies and I hit some new trails today and I launched off a jump and before I could get it back down, my left front smacked right into a tree. I'm fine, few scratches here and there, but my quad is not LOL.

My left tie rod was bent in a "U' looking shape and it wasn't good. Was a good ten minutes into the fun ride and I wiped out.

What I was wondering was if I should just order a new tie rod or if I should look for a used one? I bent it back pretty straight now with a hammer but it probably is pretty weak. I saw on OEM that it was about 35 bucks new.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

Awesome find. It might be more than the tie rod but that looks like a great site. I'll have to tear it off tomorrow and check.

FYI: Rocky mtn atv now sells OEM parts and the shipping is a heck of alot less than alot of these online dealers. I paid 7 bucks for a ton of stuff I just ordered the other day-most of the online dealers want $10+

service honda has the best parts price but the worse shipping. i one time odered a-arm seals it was about 40 some dollers when i got the e-mail the next day with the shipping price they said the total was 90 bucks. they charge me 50 bucks to mail small little seals. i cancled that order and will never use them again. and they take 2-3 weeks sometimes to get ur parts.

i allways use bikebandit now they have good prices and cheap shipping and i allways get my stuff with in days from the order. and my ama discount is nice 2
