who makes the best gusset kit for 04-05?

what kind of kill switches are you guys using?

how does honda's stock kill switch work? does it work by grounding out?

are you eliminating the key?

for the tether, is the system normally open or normally closed?

stock seat latch OK for mx? or replace with other?

joe p I like the pro armor teather switches

it works of the cdi by grounding out the capacitor in the cdi

you can jump the red to black instead of key

the tether is normally closed at rest, completing continuity to ground when the tether key is removed

or you can go right to coil... but I would rather use the black/white stripe wire and green wire from the key or the handle bar cluster switch and ground out the cdi as designed from the factory

I prefer the LSR or Teixeira Tech gusset kits, which are very similar. Whatever you go with, make sure it has the upper subframe mount gusset. Those bolts come loose often, and this prevents it.

If it's kick start, you can remove the key simple by unplugging it. If it's e-start, I would leave the stock key on.

but on the er,your right if the key is removed there is no way to keep the battery from discharging,or without serious harness rebuild no way to give power to start button
