Are you asking how??

Just pull the shifter off and turn it some then put it back on so the front of the shifter if up higher so you can get your boot under it.

put a screw driver in between the back two pieces that screw together to hold it on pry it apart just a little then jiggle it off.

the shifter should not be one piece.
Post a picture if you can.

spray some wd 40 or some type of oil on it and try tomarrow put a flat head screw driver between the split in the shifter (where the bolt runs threw) and pry a little and pull if it dont come off ?? try heating it i guess??

Your not gonna break it, get a really hefty screwdriver and pry it where the split is and yank it off.

You have to take the screw all the way out...
