I just got my Laeger no-link chassis back from Mark, and couldn't resist posting some pics.

Motor: CT 350
Pipe: New Cusrtis Sparks big bore
Front: +4 T-pin w/ Axis all around

Hopefully it will be a beast enough to pull my big ***** around on the MX track!

Looks REALLY Nice!! I love the pipe.

Did you have your frame repaired?

Yes, I did. The previous owner had the motor mounts reworked and the frame and swing arm notched to fit a CRF150 motor in it.
I called Mark asked if he would repair it, you see the end result.
BTW, the sub frame is new. Evidently he had some material left over from a previous order and built these till he ran out.

I'm loving the pipe! Is there a little dent on the expansion chamber?

Take it to a dent removal place, they'll get it out. ;)

Looking forward to this build!

Maybe you can find a body shop that does paintless dent removal and have them work it out for you. What color are you going to powdercoat the frame?

Like this....red with gold metallic flake base and a clear with silver metallic top coat. It makes it kinda dull or maroon looking in the shade but when you get it in sunlight....POW!

So where can I get one of those flip-up sub-frames? I love the looks of that and I need a new sub-frame anyway. Not to mention some frame repairs as well. My Laeger frame is pretty beat up. So its gonna need some welding too! Please let me know, I'm really interested?? Thanks Higgy!

i dont know where u can buy one but a buddy of mine has a pipe repair kit for dirt bikes and ive seen it take out some knarly creased up pipes. it seals both ends of pipe off and has an air chuck on one end, u fill the pipe up with lie 150 psi of air and start heating it up with a torch simple kit that i have seen work. Im talking about taking pipes most would throw away cause so bad. some of the simplest things work the best

I bet if you took it to a body shop, they could hammer/dolly it. The dent is almost in the perfect spot as you can separate the pipe and actually have enough room to get in there and work!

There are some pics in this thread where the frame is red with gold sparkles in it! http://trx250rparts.com/showthread.php?148-buildup-from-GA

I've been sponsored by T&T in Bardstown, KY. for quite a few years and have done business with them for way more.
Jimmy, the owner, has had a long standing business relationship with Curtis. MANY years ago jimmy ordered a couple of big bore pipes, he never got them. So he kept after Curtis about his pipes and 8 YEARS later he got them. I think Curtis got tired of hearing about them, honestly. I was told that these were made of the last of the lose material he had and there WILL NOT be any more made. He must have used up all the stamped material he had a few years back (just a guess).
How I got one..... So I have been hearing about these pipes for the same 8 yrs and everytime the story was told it was followed up with "I want one of those pipes".
Got one!
