2006 400ex

my 2006 400ex put out 26 hp at Power Pac in Marshfield WI with a lexx pipe open air box and uni air filter....Does this seem kinda low??? they told me thats what most 400s run?

well every dyno is different.. best thing to do is find someone with similar quad and have it run on the same dyno..

In my opinion, i think other dynos would say that 26 is what it would have stock or around that

I dynoed back in 2009 and the results were questionable at power pack. Our quads were about 7hp below all the other dynoes we go to . After we were done they had a big v twin honda motorcycle on there putting out about 55hp. I dont know if they hadnt had the dyno calibrated ,the load on or what but the result were all over the place. Hopefully they got it squared away since then.
I dont think the guy they had running it had been trained on how to use it either because he didnt know how to safelty tie down a quad or know you could swing the control panel around to use on the machine.

I had my Outlander Dyno'd at Power Pac in Marshfield as well and the dyno seems to be on. Well it would be awesome if it was off by 7hp because that would mean i would have about 62HP at the wheels! It was dynod at 55HP.

I had a buddy that dynoed his z400 and it made like 28 so that sounds about right.
