i know you like the protection of the lid but you are loosing some potential!!

try using a k+n prefilter with a dry wear outer wear, as long as you keep the drain hose clean, no water will build up, ive swam mine across many deep puddles just keep bobbing it for air!!

as far as jetting how is it running now?

I would think your running lean, you might want to go to around 140 main, with the cover on, the only real answer is how it runs, no matter what its trial and error, i would rather error on the rich side

I recently got a HRC kit and I don't know about the jetting but I am going to get a Pro-Tec MOFLOW airbox lid with has a outerwares like element that is waterproof

You need the hrc jet kit to go with the hrc header and baffle.

It comes with a better needle, a 162 main, and a 55 leak jet.

Honda part # 16020-nlz-610

But you will need to run with your lid off, or opened up somehow.

I run mine with the lid on when it's wet, I clip it in the front, then fold the rear clips into the airbox, and let the lid sit on the clips.

I like one up on pilot, and around the 145 to 150 on the main would be a good start! 145 I think!
