I have a 2001 warrior that has been sitting all winter . I went out a few times this winter and started it and it started right up. now that the weather is warm i attempted to start it and it just make a clicking noise . the headlights work and the neutral light works so dont think its the battery

It most likely is your battery. Sounds like it doesnt have enough cranking amps to run the starter. You would still have enough power to run the lights. Put it on a trickle charger for a few hours and you should be good.

could be a broken wire,i had my warrior do this exact thing and turned out the wire with an inline fuse under fender(main power wire) had gotten water in it and over time the wire coroded enough to make selenoid click and would run headlites but couldnt carry enough energy to crank starter over..cut the bad spot out and it fired rite up

Or your battery is shot. The plates broke down or its out of water/acid.

well put a new solenoid on and it still just clicks . so we tapped on the motor and it started . so gonna order a starter . Will I be ok if i order a parts unlimited or ricks motosports starter? they are only $166 but an oem one from bikebandit is over 250.
