Steel is cheaper & stronger---alum looks better up to you??as far as rim size for mud & snow i would get the 10inch...

also since the aluminum flexes it gives you some extra plushness over the rough stuff.

whats the difference from a 22x12x9 and a 22x12x10 the only difference is the rim size correct they both are 22 in diameter correct so they will give you the same ground clearance

yes thats right. 22 inch is the tire height, 12 is the width, the last number is rim size

ok so there is no difference between getting a 10 inch rim or a 9 inch except the 9 inch will be a softer ride and have more side wall flex.
as far as rim size for mud & snow i would get the 10inch...

how will a 10inch rim give me more clearance?

ok i was confused.....i know it will help with the rolling of the tire and it will handle better.
Stock rims are one of the best...
Steel rims may be stronger but they are heavier and I bet the mud/snow tires are heavier as well.

If you plan on jumping with them get Alum. They are lighter. Steel is gonna weigh you down....
