thanks dave
there's going to be a stock one on my new motor, is it worth taking it off and putting this one on? i quess it can't hurt, and i'm probably only going to get $75 for it. does it use a stock gasket? there's no pressure there so i can probably just use gasket maker on it.

IMO it is worth using. It has a bearing in the cover for the middle gear to ride in. The stock cover only has a guide hole for the middle gear. The bearing in the cover is the advantage. It will use a stock gasket.

Sleds can still go, but I want to be done with them. This darn winter wont end. As far as Blair being ready to race, good ?.

That is not a DC tranny cover, that is one of mine. Its a DS Modz tranny cover, you can tell from the oil groove around the bearing, also the thickness of the internal webs.

If you need more info on them please ask

Thanks

thanks shawn,
i've decided to use it, does it use the stock gasket? is the main advantage bearing support for middle gear?

yes you can, but I use yama-bond or another liquid gasket maker, its just easier to use. I have bearings and seals if they need to be replaced.

Thanks

The advantage of my tranny cover is the bearing support and the double wiper seal on the shaft. Stock covers seem to leak, after install I have had comments that mine doesn't leak becuase of the better seal.

Yeah that stuff was rough, supposed to be cherry bombs made with cherry vodka and redbull, they had nither in the bar so apparently they made up their own cherry bomb formula lol. I didn't throw up but my wife prayed to the porcelin god all night lol.

With all the things on a different thread about toxic blends maybe I should re-word that.
After the quads are parked for the night look me up, I'll gladly share an adult drink with you all.

Sounds good. Just remember this, I enjoy a marlboro or two with my drinks, just make sure the lid is back on the jug before i light up!!! The doctor says my hair may never grow back after the last mishap!
