I can't seem to find an 18" rear tire that will fit my stock wheels... I just need them for practice. I don't wanna tear up my nice tires on my DWT's...

Most of the riders that talk about excessive wear are racers or aggressive riders that demand there tires be new in order to get the most out of them. For the average rider you can use a tire much longer but the more they wear the less grip you’ll have. How and where and what you ride will determine how long they will last. Also the softer compound tires will wear faster. Generally a tire with more ply’s will have a harder compound rubber and be a little thicker. They last much longer then a 4 ply will but they are heaver as well so they will take some of your useable HP.
I hope that helped.

I'll get klaws before Holeshots.

Yep, I run Klaws in 9 inch rear. They hook up and slide pretty well. They also have extremely long wear.

klaws aren't bad, but if your looking for traciton and good wear, try out the maxxis razr mx's, you can get them in 18x10x9. I ran itp mxr6s last year, they hookup awesome, but wear fast. I now run maxxis razr cross, front and rear, i will never run anything else now. I ran the klaws up front and honestly, they are a big waste of money imo.

I used Klaws and MXR6's on my 9 inch rims for practice. The Klaws will last longer, but the MXR6's hook up A LOT better. I'd honestly go with the MXR6s. Its not like they're going to wear away after one ride. Plus the hook up amazingly in the mud compare to klaws.
