hey so I'm going to do a 426 with a J.E. 11:1 and use a xr headgastket. My question is, I have a head with a web cam 479 and was wondering if this would be ok with that compression or if it still needs to be higher?
From what I've read (in the thread about cams in the f.a.q. section)the intake duration of the cam is what determines how high of a compression ratio you need and from the specs it looks like the 479 is right between the hotcam 1&2 it just has a huge lift... thanks in advance!
