IT IS VERY FAST AND THE HANDLING IS INCREDIBLE I ALWAYS THOUGHT MY 400EX HANDLED WELL BUT MAN THIS 250R GEOMETRY IS UNBELIEVEABLE

Did I see you say that you have only 5900 into this bike? That is just unreal for a machine of this caliber. If you have really kept the costs down that far congratulations we all want to know your secret. Also I thought I heard a rumor about service honda selling quads w/a cr250 engines in them; can anyone address this?

Yes it is true.. It's a fully stock 400ex with a cr250 motor thrown in it.

no he payed 5900 for the bike (crf450), its totalled more than double that for the whole setup i bet

yeah 6000 probably in engine... He's got a lot of $$ into that baby... But it will all be worth it when he tears up the track. That thing is a piece of art. Good Work!

yes it was 5900 for the bike the cost of the whole thing was prolly about 17-18000 or so. but thats not including selling stuff on ebay. i bought the whole dirtbike and after selling everything on ebay i ended up with a brand new 03 crf450 engine for only $2200 :devil

The 450 is coming out nice. I just glad I don't have to race you this year. My 416 is done now I just broke it in this weekend. I been riding banshee and raptor all winter and by the time I jump on my it feels kinda under power now, even though its alot faster than it was. I now know whats you mean you can't get thats much power out of a 400ex compared to the better racing quads out there. I might go the 450crf for next myself.

i got rid of the elkas once i found out that elka didn't make a rear shock yet for the no link rear suspension and Axis has so ................ being that axis is pretty much the best u can get i decided to go all the way and not short change myself

Yup I will be racing novice this year. I will be sandbag the novice class in 4stroke novice and open novice. I think I will be running amurture over in new york for the D34 races.. You can come back down to novice if you want. Are you going to still be racing the B class this year A class.

I think you will do pretty good in expert class. But I wish luck for Pro-am. Thats a pretty fast class even with the old 450. I heard redrizza(23) is going to race pro-am this year to.

I hear you. I would do it just to be line up with doug gust, mike walsh and the othere. And your right about riding with faster poeple make you faster. Theres really no one faster than my here pittsfield so I race dirt bikes around.

#24 will be running expert from what he told me :confused: thats not pro am right?
