Thats exactly what i was thinking.
I have not owned a hinson but have rode quads with them and i LOVE them there awesome imo.
Ive ran a tusk before and for the price i can not complain at all.

ok i was on the hinson website and it seems they only have the basket and pressure plates? no heavier duty springs. what do you suggest i get? a whole new clutch? just plates? plates and springs? THANKS GUYS

it looked like everything was there for an 8plate you just have to get them seperately.

you will need 8 plates of fiber 7 steel, springs for the 8 plate, 8 plate basket, backing plate, and a pressure plate. i dont see the pressure plate on there. if you are interested in going that route give them a call and see if they have a kit for you already. i believe they do, i just dont remember who sells it.

gt thunder might have a whole kit also along with colby at c&d. im not sure what they have but it will be worth a shot to contact them too. they will know what you need to get it working correctly.

no prob, it is an expensive proposition thats for sure. lol theres a reason none of us run them. some of us are college kids with way too many other toys to spend money on also. gotta alot so much for each machine over a summer and after that your mod list just sits till next year. lol steve

You should go to county line dragway and race, I run my ex there once in a while.

JOHNDOE - lol!! i do go to county line alot but to watch my friend race his camaro and actually my neighbor took his banshee and we went last weekend but it was an event so they didnt let him race cause he needed slicks. but let me kno when you plan on going and maybe well meet up. AND about the clutch, i think i am going to hold off for a little cause i need to get my shocks rebuilt, they are leaking oil bad.
