Should I upgrade my rear shock and keep my stock swingarm.

Should I get a long travel swingarm and keep my stock rear shock.

Or should I cheat and get a linkage to my stock swingarm and upgrade my rear shock to a long travel shock.

Cant afford both both swingarm and rear shock upgrade unfortunately.

Note my front suspen. is done up to a hauser a-arms+1 and long travel tcs shocks. Please help thanks

I would upgrade the shock and linkage. The aluminum is decently strong. If that isn't cracked or broke, I wouldn't replace it yet. The shock upgrade will/can reduce the stress on the swing arm.

I changed the shock and got a Fox podium x elite on the rear. Now if I get a longer linkage does it lower the back of the quad and will it be a notable difference?

I believe it will lower it 1/2" but I could be wrong. I don't think it will have a negative effect on your quad/handling. I would assume with that shock you could adjust the height of the quad if you felt it was too low.

I run LT PEPs up front with the stock (not rebuilt) rear. The front is 1/2" lower and its fine.
