what oil to run?

I have a 2005 trx 450 r with krankit kit and want to know what oils to run? want to stick with amsoil if possable thanks

I run the rotella oil. its in a white bottle... and you can just get it at walmart. its alot cheaper than the oil at the mx stores and you get gallon..

Honda HP4 10w40 and Honda gear oil in the tranny side

I have run the Honda HP trans/Belray Thumper in both of my 450r's, never had a problem.
My dealer was out of the Hp trans. when I changed my oil last. I picked up some Maxima Trans oil. Except from the color, I can't tell a difference.
You just have to change it often, clean oil is like cheap, well semi cheap insurance.

regular 10w- 40 in all my machines, never a problem. 1986 honda shadow 1100, 2001 honda 440ex, 2004 honda 450rand 2007 honda trx90.

Rotella has treated everything i own very well. I am an excessive over-oil changer on my bikes, a day of riding is an oil change. Ran Amsoil, Rotella, Honda Line, and always keep coming back to Rotella...

I`m sure there are better oils out there, but It works well and I have never had an oil related failure.

I raced MX for years on regular Valvoline 10-40, without a single issue related to oil not holding up.

in my opinion the best oil to run is a oil that you can afford to change after every ride!! if you can afford to change out Honda oil after 3 hours riding then run that, I personally cant so I use rotella, I would rather use the extra money saved on oil to put into the gas tank!!

I run the rottela t on the crank side and Mobil 1 15 50 fully synthetic on the top end. I ran the Mobil one in all my quads. And it keeps the engin realy clean.
