Hey guys, Im thinkin about building a 250r frame from scratch...

Have a mint 88 frame i want to copy / go by.

just curious if anyone has any pics of quad frame-jigs? Ive seen some floating around in the last few years on the web...but cant find them. I have a basic idea of how i would want to do it, but seeing some pics would help alot with it.

So if you have any , please post them up :-)

thanks guys!

I just googled frame jigs and TRX250R and received quite a few hits. Click on the images link at the top.

Good luck! Please share pics or start a build thread. This is pretty awesome!

what type of tubing are you going to use? square, round, oval...

Def want to go round...

Have owned alot of LSR frames... and 2 JRD's and 1 houser..

liked the strength of the JRD the best, but the LSR seemed to make the most sense. JRD was a tad over built.

I know this link is for CHOPPERS....but some really goo material

Also,

Are you gonna use 4130 Chromoly ?

What are you going to BEND it with ?

Do you have a TIG welder ?

I want to fab a new Hybrid frame for my 680R but it's gonna co$t a fortune to by all the right tools to do so......might be cheaper to have it fabricated by a chassis builder.
