im want to start freestyle but just wondering if ltr's are to low to the ground to hit ramps with or not because i scrape my frame going up jumps, but that is with 18s. so i was just wondering if anyone hits ramps and what they use for set ups. thanks

You jump off a ramp not ramp off a jump...

Anyways I haven't hit a freestyle ramp but I couldn't see why your frame drags unless your suspension is WAY too soft.

sounds like someone needs to do some research on suspension :) Research setting up your suspension on google. Compression, rebound etc. An LTR is one of the best bikes for freestyle stock due to its awesome suspension from the factory.

i have hit some good jumps.. leaped off the dunes at silver lake..never bottomed out dropped into a pit about 45" down and i did bottom good on that one. lol lucky it was downhill landing. but on my day to day track rides i dont ever bottom out... i think your shocks are set way too soft like these guys said...:huh

Well my shocks have faded to about nothing but Iv always been able to scrape, but my buddy has tripple rate shocks that are set up for him and his sits alot lower and hit the ground. What's u good cheap way to make my stock shocks competitive?

How low the bike sits to the ground is all about how the shock is set up... You set up for every situation different(xc, mx, tt, etc..)

Having your stock rebuilt or buying a used set would be the cheapest route.

on ur rear shock id turn the high speed compression up some and maybe bump the low speed up a hair on the front if ur shocks are soshot u cant adjust to get the bottoming on the face tuned out then u deff need a rebuild

I have ridden ramps for a long time. The LTR is one of the most comfortable quads I have taken off a ramp. Heres a little proof, LTR in bone stock form. :D
