Does anyone have a 6" x 6" piece of the heat resistant material that you glue to ATV plastic to keep it from melting the plastic. I only need a small pice and most of the cycle shops sell large pieces that retail for $ 50 - $60. Again I only need a small piece and am willing to buy a piece from you. Maybe someone out there bought a big piece and has some spare pieces they would sell? Let me know: wade@spearcoyne.com

Thanks.

All the auto parts stores should carry stuff like that, in the peformance section for cars and trucks. It comes in a roll to wrap up headers (to keep the heat away). It works great my opinion. The spay can type aint all that great. just make sure you get high temp epoxy..lol

check home depot or lowes plumbing department.they used to carry hi-temp material for soldering next to flammable stuff.it was sold in smaller squares.or check a parts store like mentioned.ask for something to wrap a starter so headers won't burn it up.good luck. :D
